A fire fighting system has many parts: tanks, pumps, pipes, hydrants, sprinklers and extinguishers. When different firms supply each part, the joins are where trouble starts. Turnkey fire fighting projects put one contractor in charge of the whole result. This hub explains what that covers and links to each service. Treat this page as your starting point for turnkey fire fighting projects.
What turnkey fire fighting projects cover
We start with a site survey and a design, then supply and fit every part. Tests follow, with pressure, flow and pump start checks. You receive drawings, test records and a maintenance plan.
The approach suits new buildings, extensions and old buildings that need to catch up with current rules. Our guides on fire hydrant systems and sprinkler systems show the main parts.
How the systems fit together
Water-based systems share tanks and pumps. Gas and foam systems protect special risks. Extinguishers cover the first minutes. We plan them as one scheme:
- Tanks and pump house for water supply
- Hydrants and hose reels for the fire brigade and trained staff
- Sprinklers for automatic control of fire
- Foam and gas systems for fuel, switchgear and data rooms
- Extinguishers, training and a yearly audit
Stages of a typical project
A project runs in clear stages. Survey and design come first, then supply and installation, then testing and handover. Each stage ends with a written record, so you always know where the job stands.
For occupied buildings we plan the work in zones, so that the rest of the building keeps running. Pressure tests, pump start tests and flow tests are done with your team present.
Why one contractor helps
Tanks, pumps and pipes must be sized together. A pump that is too small for the pipes wastes the sprinklers on the top floor. One designer sees these links and fixes them on paper, before anything is bought.
One contractor also gives one point of contact for the fire department visit and for the maintenance plan afterwards.
Who we work for
Builders, architects and MEP consultants can send us drawings and a specification, and we return a priced layout that matches it. Corporates and hospital owners get one team across sites and wings. Industries get designs matched to their hazards. Defence establishments, including Indian Navy and Army sites, can ask for a plan and quote, subject to their security and vendor-registration rules.

Standards and approvals
Designs follow NBC 2016 Part 4 and the relevant IS codes, such as IS 3844 for internal hydrants and IS 13039 for external hydrants. The fire department issues the NOC. Essatech prepares drawings and records and does not issue or promise approval. These rules apply to all turnkey fire fighting projects we run.
