This page is part of our turnkey fire fighting projects range. Owners often think a building is safe because the equipment is on the walls. An audit asks a harder question about whether it would all work tonight and whether everyone could get out. A fire safety audit in Hyderabad answers that with tests, photos and a clear list. Many clients use it as the first step before working with our fire NOC consultant team.
What we inspect
We walk every floor, the roof, the basement and the plant rooms. Each item is checked against the approved plan and good practice, and we test systems where it is safe to do so.
Electrical rooms get special attention. Overloaded boards, open panels and cables run through stores start more fires than any other cause we see.
- Exits, stairs and doors: clear, unlocked and signed
- Exit signs and emergency lighting
- Extinguishers: type, location, pressure and refill dates
- Fire alarm: panel faults, detectors, call points and hooters
- Hydrants and hose reels: valves, hoses and pressure
- Sprinklers: valves, heads and blocked spray
- Pumps: automatic start and diesel readiness
- Electrical risk: panels, cabling and overloads
- Housekeeping: stores, waste and blocked access
What the report looks like
The report lists each finding with a photograph, its location and why it matters. Each item gets a priority, from urgent to planned. Urgent items, such as a locked exit or a dead alarm panel, are reported to you on the day.
A small office takes a few hours on site. A large hospital or factory can take several days. The written report usually follows within a few working days of the visit, depending on the size of the site.

Audit and NOC are different
An audit finds gaps. A NOC is the fire department's decision that a building meets the rules. Our audit does not replace that decision and cannot promise it.
Owners often use the audit to prepare. Fixing the gaps first makes the NOC or renewal inspection smoother, and the report shows the work done.
How to get ready for the audit
Give our team access to every area, including plant rooms, the terrace, the basement and locked stores. Keep someone on hand who can operate the pumps and the alarm panel.
Collect the papers you already have, such as drawings, the last NOC, service reports and extinguisher lists. These help us compare the building with its approval and spot changes since then.
Who needs a fire safety audit
Any building where many people work, sleep or gather benefits from one. Hospitals, schools, hotels, factories, warehouses and apartment associations ask us most often.
An audit also makes sense after a change of use, a renovation, a near miss or a change of maintenance contractor. Insurers and banks sometimes ask for one too. After the audit, a fire safety AMC keeps the fixes in place, and hands-on fire safety training helps staff act on the findings.
Fire audits across Hyderabad
Apartment communities in Kondapur, Miyapur and Bachupally often ask for an audit when a new association takes over. We usually find closed hydrant valves, expired fire extinguishers and basements used as stores.
Hospitals and schools in Secunderabad, Kukatpally and Uppal need exits and alarms checked with patients and children in mind. IT parks in Hitech City and Gachibowli add data rooms, food courts and many tenants changing layouts.
Inspections are done by the Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department. Our Gachibowli team carries out each fire safety audit in Hyderabad, and the Hyderabad office page lists our other services. For coastal sites, see our fire safety audit in Visakhapatnam page.

Standards and approvals
We audit against NBC 2016 Part 4 and the state fire rules. The fire department decides what applies to each building, and Essatech does not issue or promise any approval.
