Fire Safety AMC in Hyderabad

Last updated: 21 October 2026

A fire safety AMC in Hyderabad is a yearly contract for planned visits that test and service your fire alarm, pumps, hydrants, sprinklers and extinguishers. You get a written report after each visit and a log book for the fire officer. Essatech also takes over systems that another contractor installed.

This page is part of our turnkey fire fighting projects range. Fire systems sit idle for years and then have to work perfectly for ten minutes. Without regular testing, small faults pile up quietly. A fire safety AMC in Hyderabad puts testing on a calendar, so faults are found by our engineers rather than by a fire officer or a fire. The contract can cover your fire alarm system, pumps and every other system on site.

What an AMC covers

Every contract lists the systems, the number of visits per year, the tests done on each visit and how breakdown calls are handled. We agree these with you before signing, so there is no doubt later about what is included.

You choose between two kinds of cover. A labour-only contract includes visits, tests and labour, and parts are quoted when needed. A parts-included contract also covers listed parts, which costs more up front but makes the yearly budget predictable.

What we check on each visit

Each system has its own checklist. We test rather than just look, and we note readings so trends show up over time.

  • Fire alarm: panel faults, batteries, sample detectors and call points, hooters, cause-and-effect actions
  • Pumps: auto start of jockey, main and diesel pumps, pressures, diesel fuel and battery
  • Hydrants: valves opened, hoses and branch pipes, hose boxes, leaks and rust
  • Sprinklers: alarm valve, gong, flow switches, floor valves, heads blocked or painted
  • Extinguishers: gauges, seals, tags, brackets, refill dates

The service report and log book

After each visit you get a written report listing what was tested, the readings, faults found and work done. Items that need parts or your action are marked clearly, with a priority.

The log book records every test, fault and repair through the year. Fire officers usually ask for it during inspection and renewal, because it shows the building has been looked after. It also helps if an insurer asks questions after an incident.

Taking over systems fitted by others

Many buildings change contractors, and we take over systems installed by other firms. Before the contract starts, we survey the site, test each system and list what works, what does not and what is missing.

You get that list with the AMC quote. Faults found at takeover are quoted separately, so the contract starts from a known condition. Missing drawings or test records are rebuilt during the first visits. That way, your log book is complete before the next inspection. If the building also needs a broader review, we can combine the takeover with a fire safety audit.

AMC visits across Hyderabad

We schedule AMC visits by area to keep travel time short, so a team covering Gachibowli, Kondapur and Nanakramguda on one day can spend more time on tests. Office towers in the Financial District and Hitech City usually need visits planned around working hours and tenant access.

Factories in Jeedimetla and Patancheru need pump and hydrant checks that fit around production. Apartment communities in Kukatpally and Miyapur often combine the AMC with yearly extinguisher refills.

Records from these visits support renewal with the Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department. Our Gachibowli team runs each fire safety AMC in Hyderabad, and the Hyderabad office page lists our other services. For coastal sites, see our fire safety AMC in Visakhapatnam page.

Standards and approvals

Maintenance follows NBC 2016 Part 4 and the relevant Indian Standards for each system, such as IS 2189 for fire alarms and IS 2190 for extinguishers. The AMC also covers your fire hydrant system, fire sprinkler system and fire extinguisher refilling where you include them.

Questions people ask us

What does a fire safety AMC include?

It includes planned visits through the year, tests of each listed system, minor repairs, breakdown calls as agreed and a written report each time. The contract names the systems covered, such as fire alarm, pumps, hydrants, sprinklers and extinguishers. Parts are included only in parts-included contracts.

How much does a fire safety AMC cost in Hyderabad?

Cost depends on the building size, the systems included, the number of visits, pump count and whether parts are covered. A small office with an alarm and extinguishers costs far less than a tower with pumps, hydrants and sprinklers. We quote after a site survey of the systems.

Can you take over an AMC from another company in Hyderabad?

Yes. We survey and test the existing systems first and give you a written list of their condition. Faults found at takeover are quoted separately. Once those are cleared or accepted, the AMC starts with planned visits and reports, whoever installed the systems.

How many visits are there in a year?

That is agreed in the contract and depends on the systems and the building. Many sites choose quarterly visits, with pump runs and simple checks done by site staff in between. Larger or higher-risk buildings may need more frequent visits. We suggest a plan after the survey.

Does a fire safety AMC in Hyderabad help with NOC renewal?

It helps a lot. Regular visits keep systems working, and the reports and log book are the records an officer usually asks for. The AMC does not replace the inspection or guarantee the NOC, which only the fire department grants, but it makes renewal smoother.

What happens if a system breaks down between visits?

Call us and an engineer will be sent as agreed in the contract. We trace the fault, fix it if parts are at hand and log the call. If parts are needed, we quote them under a labour-only contract or fit them under a parts-included one.
