This page is part of our turnkey fire fighting projects range. Fire systems fail quietly. A pump left in manual, a dead panel battery or a closed sprinkler valve looks fine until the day it matters. A fire safety AMC in Visakhapatnam puts a trained person in front of every system on a schedule, so these faults are found on a normal day. It also keeps the records you need when the NOC comes up for renewal.
What a fire safety AMC in Visakhapatnam covers
Every AMC states the number of visits per year, the tests done on each visit and how breakdown calls are handled. Quarterly visits are common for alarms and pumps, with extinguisher refills on their own dates.
A parts-included contract covers the cost of parts such as detectors, batteries and gauges. A labour-only contract covers visits and labour, and parts are quoted when needed. Parts-included cover costs more up front but makes the year's spend predictable.

What we check on each visit
Checks follow the system: the fire alarm, the pumps and hydrants, the sprinklers and the extinguishers. Every check is written down.
Faults found on a visit are listed with a priority. Small items are fixed on the spot where possible, and larger ones get a written quote.
- Fire alarm: panel faults, battery voltage, a sample of detectors and call points, hooters, cause-and-effect links
- Pumps: jockey, electric and diesel start on pressure, diesel fuel, battery and coolant, valve positions
- Hydrants: landing valves, hoses, branch pipes, hose reels and hose boxes
- Sprinklers: control valves locked open, alarm valve and gong, flow switches, a sample of heads
- Extinguishers: gauge, seal, tag dates and position on the wall
The service report and the log book
After each visit you get a signed report listing what was tested, what passed and what needs work. The pump room keeps a log book with weekly runs and our visit entries. Keep both together with your drawings.
The fire officer often asks for these records at inspection and renewal. A year of clean, dated reports shows the systems are maintained, which a one-day fix before inspection cannot prove.
Taking over systems fitted by others
Many AMC enquiries are for systems another contractor installed. We start with a survey of each system, list faults and missing items, and price any repairs separately from the contract. Some older panels have no spares left, and we will say so instead of patching them.
Once the systems are up to standard, the AMC starts from a known baseline. That way both of us know what working looks like.
Refills, audits and CCTV
Extinguisher refills under the contract follow the same process as our fire extinguisher refilling in Vizag service. A yearly fire safety audit can sit alongside the AMC to look at exits and housekeeping too. Camera systems have a separate contract, set out on our CCTV security system page.
AMC visits across Vizag
Our head office is in Suryabagh, so travel to most city sites is short, from Dwaraka Nagar and Seethammadhara to MVP Colony and Madhurawada. Industrial clients at Gajuwaka, Duvvada and Parawada get visits planned around shifts and permits. Ask about attendance times for breakdown calls when we quote.
Coastal premises need closer corrosion checks. Hotels near the beach and port-side warehouses see rust on hydrant valves, pump bases, sprinkler heads and extinguisher cylinders sooner than inland sites. We add these points to the visit checklist and photograph anything that is getting worse.
A fire safety AMC in Visakhapatnam also helps with the Andhra Pradesh Fire Services Department, because renewals look for proof of maintenance. The Visakhapatnam office page lists all our services here. We also run AMCs in Hyderabad.

Standards and approvals
A fire safety AMC in Visakhapatnam follows the Indian Standard for each system, such as IS 2190 for extinguishers, and the maker's instructions. Only the fire department issues or renews the NOC. Our records help, but we cannot promise approval.
