This page is part of our turnkey fire fighting projects range. Resort hotels and old buildings near the Vizag coast are hard to sprinkler. Large pipes do not fit, and water damage costs a fortune. A water mist system in Visakhapatnam puts out heat with a fine spray and a small water supply. It also suits cable tunnels and machine halls at plants.
Spray, steam and cooling
High-pressure nozzles turn water into a fog of tiny droplets. The droplets soak up heat fast, and part of the spray turns to steam, which dilutes the oxygen near the flame.
The result is quick cooling with a small flow. A modest pump set or a cylinder bank is enough, and the pipes are slim.
Built for salt air
Mist pipes and nozzles are small, so corrosion matters more than in a sprinkler. We use stainless pipe and fittings and keep nozzles free of scale with filters. Water quality is checked, because fine nozzles block on dirty water.
Service visits include nozzle checks and a flushing routine.
Where it fits and where it does not
Mist works for hotels, cable tunnels, turbine rooms and heritage spaces. It is a poor choice for deep fuel pools and for rooms that need gas to reach into cabinets. We say so and suggest foam or gas in those cases.
Who we serve
Builders and architects of resorts and old buildings can involve us early, so mist nozzles and thin pipes fit the ceilings and finishes. Consultants can send us the specification, and we return a matching price. Corporate campuses and hospitals get one team across blocks. Industrial clients get designs matched to their hazards. Indian Navy and Army establishments, along with other defence sites, can request a plan and quote under their own security and vendor-registration rules. For upkeep after handover, see our fire safety AMC page.
Water mist across Visakhapatnam
Resort and beach-road hotels near Rushikonda and Madhurawada use mist where large risers will not fit. Port and plant sites at Gajuwaka and Parawada protect cable tunnels and turbine halls.
Older buildings in Maharanipeta and Siripuram use mist where heritage rules limit new pipework. The Andhra Pradesh Fire Services Department inspects the finished work. Our Suryabagh head office handles each job, and the Visakhapatnam office page lists our other work. Inland sites can read our Water Mist System in Hyderabad page.

Standards and approvals
Designs follow NBC 2016 Part 4 and NFPA 750 as the reference for water mist systems. Approval rests with the Andhra Pradesh Fire Services Department, and Essatech neither issues nor promises it. The fire NOC consultant page sets out the order of work. We apply the same terms to every water mist system in Visakhapatnam we install.
