What a pump set does
The jockey pump keeps pressure steady. When pressure falls, the electric main pump starts. If the supply or that pump fails, the diesel pump takes over.

Pump size follows the flow and pressure needed at the furthest hydrant or sprinkler. We check the duty point on the pump curve and allow margin.
At handover we run start tests, flow tests and a pressure check, and we run the diesel set on load. Results go into your records and give later tests a baseline.

Designs follow NBC 2016 Part 4 and NFPA 20 as the reference for fire pump installation. Approval rests with the Andhra Pradesh Fire Services Department, and Essatech neither issues nor promises it.
