What the agent is and how it works
Two agents are common in portable units. HFC-236fa is a hydrofluorocarbon gas. FK-5-1-12 is a fluoroketone that is stored as a liquid and sold under several trade names. Both leave the nozzle as gas or fast-evaporating vapour.
The agent absorbs heat from the flame and interrupts the burning reaction. Nothing is left behind to wipe off. It also does not carry current, so it can be used on live equipment from a safe distance.

Limits you should know
A clean agent fire extinguisher in Hyderabad is a first response tool. It has a short discharge and a modest fire rating, so it suits small starting fires. A deep seated fire in a cabinet needs the room shut down and the fire service called.
It is also not the answer for cooking oil or metal fires. Keep a CO2 fire extinguisher or a lithium battery fire extinguisher nearby where those risks sit. After any discharge, open the doors and ventilate the room before staff return.

Portable units are made to IS 15683, and ISI-marked clean agent models exist. Selection and placement follow IS 2190, so check the current revision before you plan. Ask the supplier for the agent datasheet and the test certificate for the exact model.
