A factory has more than one kind of risk: fuel, chemicals, dust, panels, heavy machinery and many contract workers. Fire safety and security for factories works when each area gets the system that suits its hazard, and when the systems work together.
What makes factories different
Production halls, stores, boiler rooms, pump houses and electrical rooms each burn differently. One system for the whole plant rarely fits. We walk the site, list the hazards and propose a layered plan.
Our turnkey fire fighting projects page shows how we deliver a full scope under one contract.
Fire safety solutions for factories
We design and install the following, based on your hazards and the authority's rules:
- Fire alarm and detection: heat, smoke, flame and beam detectors chosen for dusty and hot areas
- Hydrants, pumps and tanks: water supply for hose reels and outdoor hydrants, with a tested pump house
- Sprinklers and foam: automatic protection for stores, with foam for fuel areas
- Gas and electrical panel suppression: FM200 or CO2 for control rooms and switchgear
- Extinguishers and training: supply, refilling and staff drills
Security solutions for factories
Security covers the fence line, the gates and the shop floor.
- Industrial CCTV: cameras built for dust, heat and long distances
- Thermal cameras: night detection along boundaries
- Solar electric fencing: a physical and alarm barrier for open boundaries
- Gates and boom barriers: vehicle control with records at truck entries
- Metal detectors and baggage scanners: screening at staff and visitor entries
People, attendance and communication
Shift workers and contractors need controlled access. Biometric attendance ties hours to the person and feeds payroll. A public address system carries alarms and shift calls across noisy halls, and EPABX and networking link offices and gates.
How we work with plant teams
We visit during working hours, so that we see real conditions. We quote scope in stages, so you can start with the highest risk. Installation is planned around production, with hot work permits where needed. Fire safety and security for factories also needs upkeep, so we offer yearly service with reports. We do not issue the Fire NOC, but we prepare the system documents your consultant needs.
What the site survey covers
Our engineer checks these points on a free visit, then sends a written plan.
- Hazards in each building and store
- Water source, tank size and pump room
- Boundary length, gates and blind spots
- Cable routes, power and dust
- Permits, shifts and contractor entry
Who we work with
Plant heads, safety officers, EHS managers and MEP consultants can send drawings and a specification, and we return a priced layout that matches them. Builders of industrial sheds can involve us before the roof and floors are finished. Defence-related factories and ordnance sites can ask for a plan and quote, subject to their security and vendor-registration rules.
What affects the price
- Plant size and number of buildings
- Hazard classes and storage
- Water source, pumps and tanks
- Number of cameras and gates
- Civil work and cabling
- Testing, documents and service
What to send us
- Site plan and building list
- What you make and store
- Existing fire and security equipment
- Shift pattern and contractor numbers
