This page is part of our CCTV surveillance systems range. A camera that looks great in a brochure can be useless on the wrong wall. Distance, light and weather decide how it performs. As CCTV camera dealers in Hyderabad, we ask about the spot before we talk about the model. If you need the whole system planned, start with our CCTV security system page.
What we supply
We stock and order cameras and parts for every common job. Contractors often buy complete kits, while shop owners usually want a small set that works out of the box.
Our range includes products from makers such as Hikvision, CP Plus and Dahua. We confirm current models and stock with each quote. We sell them as a supplier and installer, not as an authorised dealer.
- Dome cameras for indoor ceilings
- Bullet cameras for walls, gates and fences
- PTZ cameras that pan, tilt and zoom
- Thermal cameras for dark perimeters
- ANPR cameras for number plates
- NVRs, DVRs and surveillance hard disks
- PoE switches, cable, connectors and racks
Megapixels without the hype
Resolution is measured in megapixels, and higher numbers mean finer detail over the same view. That detail is only useful when the lens frames the scene well and the light is good. A 2 MP camera close to a door often beats an 8 MP camera mounted far away.
Higher resolution also costs more disk and bandwidth. We pick the lowest resolution that does the job well, then spend the savings on better lenses or more storage days.

Lens, field of view, light and housing
A wide lens such as 2.8 mm covers a room. A narrower lens such as 6 mm or 12 mm reaches further but sees less width. Motorised varifocal lenses can be zoomed after mounting, which helps when the final distance is uncertain.
Light matters as much as the lens. Infrared works in the dark but shows black and white, while colour night cameras add a soft light. Glass lobbies and road-facing gates need wide dynamic range. Outdoor cameras need IP66 or IP67 sealing, and units within reach need an IK10 vandal rating.
Recorders, disks and switches
Pick the recorder for the cameras. NVRs suit IP cameras and DVRs suit analogue HD. Both come in 4, 8, 16 and 32 channel sizes, and bigger sites can use servers.
Hard disks should be surveillance grade, sized for the days you need. PoE switches power IP cameras through the network cable. Check the total power budget, because a switch that runs short drops cameras at night when infrared turns on.
Supply only or supply and install
Contractors and integrators with their own teams buy supply-only. You get the equipment, datasheets and advice on matching parts. Homes, shops and offices usually prefer supply and install, which our CCTV installation team handles from survey to handover.
Warranty comes from the maker and differs by product. We list it on the quote and help raise a claim if a unit fails. For IP camera systems already running, our CCTV AMC and repair service handles faults.

Buying for a building project
Builders and contractors usually buy in stages. First fix needs cable, conduit and back boxes. Cameras, recorders and switches follow when interiors are close to finish, so they are not damaged by dust and paint.
We can hold a price for an agreed period and deliver in batches to match your schedule. Send the bill of quantities or the camera layout, and we will check that every part works together before you order. Mismatched recorders and cameras are a common cause of delays at handover.
For large sites, we also share datasheets for your consultant to approve. That keeps the approval step quick and avoids late substitutions.
Mistakes buyers make
The most common mistake is buying on megapixels alone. A high-resolution camera with a wide lens, mounted far from the door, still shows a small face. Distance and lens matter more.
Other mistakes repeat too. People mix camera and recorder brands that do not support each other, buy desktop disks that fail within months, or pick a PoE switch without enough power. Indoor cameras also end up on outdoor walls, where rain and dust ruin them in one season. A short call with us before ordering avoids all of these.
PTZ and specialist cameras
A PTZ camera can patrol a large yard on preset tours or be steered by a guard. It pairs well with fixed cameras that always cover the gates, since a PTZ looking one way misses the other.
Thermal cameras suit fence lines and hot plant areas. ANPR cameras need a fixed angle, fast shutter and glare control to read plates reliably.
CCTV buyers across Hyderabad
Shops in Kukatpally, Ameerpet and Secunderabad usually buy compact kits of four to eight cameras with a recorder and phone viewing. Builders in Kokapet and Bachupally order cameras by the tower for new gated communities.
Contractors working in Patancheru, Jeedimetla and Shamshabad buy supply-only for factories and warehouses, often bullets, PTZ units and long cable runs. Many visit our Gachibowli office to see equipment and talk through specifications.
As CCTV camera dealers in Hyderabad, we keep the same advice for every buyer. Match the camera to the spot. The Hyderabad office page lists our other services, and buyers on the coast can use our CCTV camera dealers in Visakhapatnam page.

Standards and approvals
Many CCTV cameras and recorders sold in India need BIS registration under the Compulsory Registration Scheme. Ask for the registration number when you buy. CCTV is not part of a fire NOC from the Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department.
