This page is part of our CCTV surveillance systems range. CCTV fails quietly. The screen in the security room still shows pictures, but the recorder stopped saving them weeks ago. CCTV AMC and repair in Hyderabad is about finding those silent faults before someone asks for footage. If your system needs a fresh design rather than repair, see our CCTV security system page.
Common faults and their usual causes
Most calls we get fall into a few groups. We test power, cable and settings before replacing any part, because the cheapest fix is often the right one.

Why recorders give up
Heat kills recorders. Many sit in closed cabinets beside routers and inverters, with no airflow. Dust clogs the fans and the disks run hot until they fail.
Power cuts and voltage swings come next. Each sudden shutdown risks corrupted settings or a damaged disk. A UPS for the NVR or DVR and switches prevents most of this.
A full disk is the quietest failure. If overwrite is turned off, recording simply stops. On every visit we check disk health, overwrite settings and the oldest saved recording.
What the AMC includes
A yearly contract sets the number of visits, the checks done and how breakdown calls are handled. Many sites choose four visits a year. Between visits we can run remote health checks if you give secure access.
Minor faults are fixed during visits. Parts such as cameras, disks and power supplies are quoted unless your contract includes them. Every visit ends with a short written report.
- Clean domes and lenses, check focus and angle
- Check night vision and housing seals
- Check disk health and recording dates
- Update recorder firmware where safe
- Test switches, cable joints and power supplies
- Test the UPS battery
- Review phone app access and passwords
Simple checks your staff can do
A guard or office manager can catch most faults in a minute a day. Look at the monitor each morning and count the cameras showing a picture. Once a week, play back a clip from the night before and check the oldest saved date.
Write down anything odd and send it to us with a photo of the recorder screen. That short note often lets our engineer bring the right part on the first visit, which saves you a second call-out.
Systems installed by others
Many of the systems we look after were fitted by another company. On the first visit we map the system, label cameras, test every run and list the faults. You see that list before signing a contract.
If some parts are too old to support, we say so and suggest replacing them in stages. New cameras can come from our CCTV camera dealers range, and larger rework goes to our CCTV installation team.
CCTV service across Hyderabad
Offices in Hitech City, Madhapur and the Financial District call us most for recorders that stopped recording and app access lost after IT changes. Gated communities in Kondapur, Miyapur and Kokapet need regular checks of gate and lift lobby cameras.
Warehouses near Shamshabad and factories in Jeedimetla see dust in recorders, corroded outdoor joints and lightning damage to switches.
Our Gachibowli team handles CCTV AMC and repair in Hyderabad, and the Hyderabad office page lists our other services. For coastal sites, see CCTV AMC and repair in Visakhapatnam.

Standards and approvals
Replacement cameras and recorders should carry BIS registration where the law covers them. CCTV is not part of a fire NOC from the Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department. Where cameras link to the fire alarm, our CCTV AMC and repair in Hyderabad tests both together.
