This page is part of our entrance automation solutions range. A boom barrier is simple until it fails. An arm that drops on a car, a motor that overheats at peak hour or a lane that is too narrow turns into a daily complaint. A boom barrier in Hyderabad needs the right arm, motor and safety gear for your lane and your traffic.
Choosing the barrier
Arm length must cover the lane with some margin, and the motor must suit the number of cycles per hour. A gated community needs a different machine from a busy office car park.
Speed matters too. Faster barriers keep queues short but need stronger parts. Folding or articulated arms suit low ceilings in basements.
Safety features
A safe barrier has a loop detector or photocell that holds the arm up while a vehicle is under it. It also has a manual release for power failure, a reflective arm and clear signs.
We fit these as standard and test them at handover. A barrier without them is a liability, and we advise against it.
Control methods
Barriers can open from a guard's push button, a remote, an RFID card, a parking ticket or an ANPR read. Many sites use two methods, such as RFID for residents and a button for visitors.
Our ANPR camera system can open the barrier for registered plates.
Who we work for
Builders and architects should settle barrier positions, lane widths and foundations with the site plan, because civil work is cheaper before paving. MEP consultants can send the specification and we price against it. Corporates and hospital owners get one team across sites and wings. Industries get designs matched to their hazards. Defence establishments, including Indian Navy and Army sites, can ask for a plan and quote, subject to their security and vendor-registration rules. For upkeep after handover, see our access control systems page.
Boom barriers across Hyderabad
Gated communities in Kondapur, Kukatpally and Miyapur use barriers at main gates. Office and mall parking in Gachibowli, Hitech City and Madhapur use barriers with tickets or RFID.
Plants at Patancheru and Jeedimetla use heavy-duty barriers at truck gates. Where this work ties into fire safety, the Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department sets the requirements. Our Gachibowli team handles each job, and the Hyderabad office page lists our other services. Coastal sites can read our Boom Barrier in Visakhapatnam page.

Standards and approvals
Doors on escape routes must open in a fire, so we link access control to the fire alarm and keep manual release in place. Gates and barriers carry safety sensors and a manual release for power failure. See our CCTV installation page for the cameras that record each entry. These terms apply to every boom barrier job in Hyderabad that we take on.
