This page is part of our entrance automation solutions range. Searching every visitor by hand is slow and awkward. A door frame metal detector in Hyderabad lets people walk through at a normal pace, and flags metal in the zone where it is. Guards then check only the people who set it off, with a hand-held detector.
Zones and sensitivity
A door frame metal detector in Hyderabad has several detection zones, from the shoes up to the head. When metal passes through, the zone light shows where it was, which helps guards find it quickly.
Sensitivity is set for the threat. A venue may want to catch small items, while an office may ignore keys and belts. We set it with your security head and test it with sample items.
Reducing false alarms
Keys, coins and belt buckles set off sensitive detectors. A tray at the entrance and a sign asking people to empty pockets cut false alarms. Automatic adjustment to nearby metal, such as a steel door frame, also helps.
We position the frame away from large metal objects and test it in place.
Frame plus hand-held
The frame screens the flow. A hand-held detector finds the item on a person who alarms. We supply both, and our guide to door frame metal detectors explains the features in more detail.
Who we work for
Builders and architects should show the frame position, queue space and power on the entrance drawing, so screening fits the flow. MEP consultants can send the specification and we price against it. Corporates and hospital owners get one team across sites and wings. Industries get designs matched to their hazards. Defence establishments, including Indian Navy and Army sites, can ask for a plan and quote, subject to their security and vendor-registration rules. For upkeep after handover, see our access control systems page.
Metal detectors across Hyderabad
Offices and hotels in Gachibowli, Hitech City and Banjara Hills screen visitors at lobbies. Venues and malls in Kukatpally and Secunderabad screen crowds at event gates.
Courts and secure plants in Patancheru use frames at entries. Where this work ties into fire safety, the Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department sets the requirements. Our Gachibowli team handles each job, and the Hyderabad office page lists our other services. Coastal sites can read our Door Frame Metal Detector in Visakhapatnam page.

Standards and approvals
Gates, doors and screening points on escape routes must not trap people, so we keep manual release and fire links in place and fit safety sensors as standard. See our CCTV installation page for the cameras that record each entry. These terms apply to every door frame metal detector job in Hyderabad that we take on.
