This page is part of our CCTV surveillance systems range. A guard at a busy gate cannot note every plate. An ANPR camera system in Hyderabad reads each plate, stores a picture and a time, and compares it with your list of residents or staff. Registered vehicles pass quickly, and visitors are logged for review.
How ANPR works
A camera with infrared lighting photographs the plate as a vehicle slows at the gate. Software finds the plate, reads the characters and checks them against a list.
A match can open the barrier. A non-match can alert the guard, who then asks for details. Every read is saved with a picture, so you can search by plate or time.
Getting good reads
Reads depend on position and plates. The camera must face the plate at a narrow angle, with steady light and a lane that keeps vehicles in view. Dirty, damaged or unusual plates reduce accuracy.
We test on your gate at night and in rain, and we adjust the angle and the lighting. We also tell you the accuracy to expect, not a perfect figure.
Linking to barriers and records
ANPR works well with a boom barrier and a visitor register. Residents are enrolled once, and visitors are pre-approved from a phone or at the gate.
Logs help with disputes, such as a car parked in a wrong bay or a vehicle that left with goods.
Who we work for
Builders and architects of communities and campuses should plan gate lanes, poles and cable with ANPR in mind, so plates can be read at a good angle. MEP consultants can send the specification and we price against it. Corporates and hospital owners get one team across sites and wings. Industries get designs matched to their hazards. Defence establishments, including Indian Navy and Army sites, can ask for a plan and quote, subject to their security and vendor-registration rules. For upkeep after handover, see our CCTV AMC and repair page.
ANPR systems across Hyderabad
Gated communities in Kondapur, Kukatpally and Miyapur use ANPR at main gates. Campuses in Gachibowli and Hitech City use it on parking entrances.
Logistics and plant gates at Shamshabad, Patancheru and Jeedimetla use it to log trucks. Where this work ties into fire safety, the Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department sets the requirements. Our Gachibowli team handles each job, and the Hyderabad office page lists our other services. Coastal sites can read our ANPR Camera System in Visakhapatnam page.

Standards and approvals
Cameras and recorders are chosen from products with data sheets, and installation follows the maker's cable and power rules. Footage can show staff and visitors, so we agree who may view and copy it. See our CCTV installation page for the wider service. These terms apply to every ANPR camera system in Hyderabad that we install.
