What you get with an analog camera system
An analog system is a simple chain: cameras, cable, a power supply and a recorder. The cameras capture video, the cable carries it to a DVR, and the DVR records it and lets you play it back. It is easy to maintain, the parts are widely available, and the cost per camera is low, which is why it still suits small and mid-size sites.
Camera types and DVR options
Essatech supplies, installs and services CCTV analog cameras in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. The range includes indoor dome, outdoor bullet, PTZ, Wi-Fi and fisheye cameras. A DVR records video from analog cameras, with recorder options from 4 to 64 channels, and PTZ cameras can pan, tilt and zoom to change the view:
- Indoor analog camera or dome camera
- Outdoor analog camera or bullet camera
- PTZ camera
- Wi-Fi camera
- Fisheye camera
- DVRs in 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 channels
Analog or IP: which one for your site?
The choice is simpler than it looks. Analog suits a small budget, short cable runs and sites that already have coaxial cable you can reuse. The range also includes indoor, outdoor and PTZ IP cameras, which an NVR records over a network. IP suits larger sites, higher picture detail and cameras spread across buildings. We tell you which fits your site, and we do not push the dearer option.
Accessories that complete the system
A camera system is only as reliable as its power and cable. CCTV accessories include:
- Power supply units
- BNC and DC connectors
- CCTV 3+1 cable and 4+1 cable
- Video baluns
- PoE switches, for IP cameras
Brands we supply
The range includes HIKVISION, CP PLUS, Sony, Dahua, Pelco, Honeywell, Samsung Techwin and Godrej. We recommend a brand by your budget, the picture quality you need and how easy the spare parts are to get.
What you get from Essatech
We handle the whole job, so you have one contact:
- A free site visit to decide camera positions, angles and cable routes
- A package with cameras, recorder, hard disk, power supply and cable, quoted together
- Installation by our team, with neat cabling
- Setup of recording, playback and mobile viewing
- A short handover on how to play back and copy footage
- Service visits and repairs afterwards
Testing and upkeep
Analog systems are simple, but cameras still need care. At each service visit we clean the lenses, check that every camera shows a clear picture at night, test the recorder and its disk, and look at cable joints and power supplies. A failing disk or a loose connector is the usual reason for a lost recording, so we check them before it happens.
For builders, architects, MEP consultants, corporates, industries, hospitals and defence
Builders and commercial building owners often pick analog for small blocks, shops and stores, because the cost is low and existing cable can be reused. Architects can show camera points and conduits on the plan. Industries use it for stores and gates, and hospital owners use it for entrances and corridors, with no cameras in rooms where patients are treated. MEP consultants can pass us the camera schedule and we price it against the specification. Corporates use analog for small branches and stores. Defence establishments, including Navy and Army sites, can use it in guardrooms and small stores, and we quote within their security and vendor-registration rules.
What decides the cost
A quote for analog cameras depends on:
- The number of cameras and their resolution
- The recorder channels and the hard disk size, which sets how many days of footage you keep
- Cable length and how easy the building is to wire
- Indoor or outdoor mounting, night vision and vandal-resistant housings
What to send us for a quote
Share these through the quote page or on WhatsApp:
- A list of areas to cover, such as entrances, counters and parking
- A sketch or photos of the building
- How many days of footage you want to keep
- Whether you want to view it on a phone
- Your location and the date you need the work done
